This article describes how to upgrade visitor id to the latest public version available.
Make sure to BACKUP your visitor id installation before performing the below instructions. Backup instructions can be found here: Perform a Full Backup of visitor id.
The Release Notes detail every item included in each upgrade. Make sure to read through the Release Notes thoroughly prior to upgrading to be aware of any new features and changes to existing features. Release Notes can be found here: visitor id Release Notes (English) or visitor id Release Notes (Deutsch)
- Download the latest visitor id upgrade to the master visitor id PC: Latest visitor id Upgrade
- Run the upgrade installer on the master visitor id PC.
- Follow the prompts and complete the upgrade.
- Run visitor id after the upgrade installer is complete.
- Go through the ‘Configuration Wizard’. All previously saved ‘Configuration Wizard’ options are displayed and can be changed here if needed.
- The master visitor id PC upgrade is complete. If you have additional workstations running either visitor id Workstation, visitor id Communicator or visitor id Web Server then please click the following links for more instructions.
