This article describes how to setup the EPSON TM-C3500 colour label printer for use with visitor id.
Instructions:
- Firstly exit visitor id.
- Download the EPSON TM-C3500 printer drivers from the Download Resources page.
- Run the downloaded ‘c350d64_2500.exe’ driver installation file and follow the installation prompts. You may need administrator priviliges to complete the driver installation.
- Plugin the EPSON TM-C3500 printer via the USB plug into the visitor id PC.
- Wait for Windows to advise the printer installation is complete.
- Click the Windows ‘Start’ button, then click ‘Settings’.
- In the ‘Settings’ window, click ‘Devices’, then click ‘Printers & scanners’ on the left menu.
- Click the ‘EPSON TM-C3500’ printer, the click the ‘Manage’ button.
- Click the ‘Printer preferences’ link.
- In the ‘General’ tab, make sure all settings match the following image:

- Click the ‘Apply’ button, then click the ‘OK’ button.
- Close down the ‘Printers & scanners’ Settings window.
- Run visitor id. Cancel opening the Kiosk if prompted.
- On the top menu bar click ‘File > Workstation Settings’.
- Click the ‘Pass Printer’ tab.
- For the ‘Visitor Pass Label Printing’ option, choose the ‘Print passes but don’t print a verification pass’ option.
- For the ‘Printer Type’ option, choose the ‘Epson TM-C3500’ option.
- Click the ‘Visitor Pass Template > Select’ button to choose the template to be printed.
- Click the ‘Print Sample Pass’ button to confirm the labels are printing correctly for the chosen Visitor Pass Template.
